Dr. Faith Botana, DMD

Dr. Faith Botana is a warm, understanding, and enthusiastic dental practitioner that creates an environment where she practices dentistry that is tailored to meet each patients’ individual needs.

Starting her academic career in Rochester, and then obtaining a Bachelor’s degree of the Arts at the University at Buffalo, Dr. Botana has always strived to educate herself and others. Furthering the pursuit into dentistry, Dr. Botana then obtained a master’s degree in biology and Doctorate from Georgia. Graduating with her Doctor of Medical Dentistry (DMD) degree at the Dental College of Georgia (DCG) in Augusta, GA.

Coming home to Rochester, as planned to be close to family, is where Dr. Botana completed a demanding and fulfilling General Practice Residency at Rochester General Hospital. There she had the opportunity to further develop skills in patient management, hospital dentistry, and public health working alongside and learning from many dentists in the area.

Dr. Botana now resides in Rochester with her husband and young daughter, enjoying local art, museums, and the rich culinary scene in the area. With great pride in the greater Rochester area, Dr. Botana prides herself in lifelong learning and is always looking for ways to better herself and uplift the community.

Dr. Manuel Botana, DDS

Dr. Manuel Botana is a compassionate experienced dental practitioner that has over 30 years’ experience. Dr. Botana completed dental school in Dominican Republic over 30 years ago. He then moved his family to the states and completed dental school at New York University (NYU). After earning his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree (DDS) he worked as a resident in Wyckoff Heights Medical Center where he completed one year of community health and one year of general dentistry. In his time there he became chief resident and taught other young dental professionals. This really expanded his knowledge in the dentistry field.

Prior to moving to Rochester, he owned a successful practice in Manhattan, N.Y where his focus was on cosmetic dentistry. Over 20 years ago he moved his family to Rochester, NY and opened his second practice where he shifted from solely doing cosmetic dentistry to diving into working with the Rochester community and tailoring his years of training and experience to serve the underserved.

His love of traveling and helping others has taken him on several dental mission trips to Colombia, Ethiopia, and Brazil where he had the wonderful opportunity to help communities in need. His joy of helping others in his community permeates in every aspect of his life. When he is not practicing dentistry Dr. Botana loves to run, and really enjoys cooking and hosting at his home for his loved ones.

Dr. Magnon Ivan Reyes, DDS, OMS

Dr. Reyes attended Columbia University in NYC where he earned his DDS degree. He then went on to complete a General Practice Residency (GPR) at Kings County Hospital Center and shortly after he completed his residency specializing in Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery at Woodhull Medical Center in Brooklyn, N.Y. He currently resides in New York City where he owns a well-established private practice. Dr. Reyes has over 15 years of implant experience, offering his advanced oral surgery experience conveniently at Gentle Dental Care monthly.
